Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients battling hematologic and oncologic conditions? We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to join our thriving outpatient clinic. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced providers in a supportive environment, providing advanced cancer care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. What You Bring:
- Current NY License in Hand
- Experience with Epic EMR; AI charting familiarity preferred
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving setting
- Strong clinical skills in oncology treatments and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to efficiently manage 18-20 patients daily with professionalism and compassion
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in outpatient oncology clinics
- Knowledge of outpatient inpatient consults
- Previous work with chemotherapy and targeted therapies
- Bilingual skills or additional language proficiencies
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Board Eligible or Certified in Physician Assistant Studies
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a hematology or oncology setting preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work weekdays, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an hour for lunch
- Flexibility for occasional inpatient consults
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Cell phone usage during shifts if utilizing AI charting tools
- Must comply with all dress code and safety policies
- Will work in a collaborative environment with one MD, one NP, and supportive staff
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay of $151.91
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
