Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team on a locum tenens basis in Fairfield, Ohio. This 11-week contract is designed to provide coverage at a well-established orthopedic and sports medicine clinic. The role focuses on post-operative patients and includes a mix of orthopedic and sports rehab caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a strong emphasis on post-operative and sports injury rehabilitation

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices

Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits/week, with 12–14 patients/day

Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected for optimal patient flow

Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic standards

Requirements:
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Ohio

Minimum of 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience

Experience with post-op patients is required

New graduates will not be considered

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Must be able to commit to full duration of the assignment

Additional Details:
No on-call or weekend responsibilities

No floating to other clinics

Overtime must be pre-approved by the clinic director

This is a travel assignment with daily OT after 24 hours and weekly OT after 40 hours, based on standard multiplier
