We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This full-time assignment will provide coverage for maternity leave, offering a great chance to work in a dynamic, supportive outpatient setting.

Key Highlights:

• Location: Near Glendale, CA


• Assignment Dates: January 1, 2025 – April 1, 2025


• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM


• Practice Setting: Outpatient only – no inpatient work or hospital privileges required.


• Patients Per Shift: Approximately 23 per day.

Clinical Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology.


• Certifications: Active California medical license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Low- and high-risk pregnancies
  
  
  • Routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-sections
  
  
  • Procedures like FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and endometrial biopsies
  
  
  • Minor gynecological procedures: IUD placements, colposcopy, and cryosurgery
  
  
  • Laparoscopic and open surgical gynecology

• Support Team: Includes RNs, MAs, PAs, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow.


• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC system in use.


• No on-call responsibilities.
