Schedule: Wednesday 8 hours onsite plus 7 hours per week remote (remote can be completed anytime). Minimum commitment 2 days per week (per Order notes)

Position Overview

Locum tenens child and adolescent psychiatry coverage in a psychiatric residential treatment facility (per Order notes)

Patient population age 8 to 14 (per Order notes)

Typical volume 7 to 8 patients per day with total census 18 to 20 (per Order notes)

EMR: Welligent (per Order notes)

Clinical Scope

Admissions and evaluations, treatment plan development, medication management, and weekly medication reviews (per Order notes)

Safety planning and crisis intervention support, including on call questions as needed (per Order notes)

Monthly multidisciplinary team meeting participation (per Order notes)

Support Team

On site support includes NP, nursing, therapists, behavioral and educational staff (per Order notes)

Required Qualifications

Active state medical license required (per Order notes)

Board certified in Psychiatry (per Order notes)

DEA required (per Order notes)

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry experience required (per Order notes)

Medicaid credentialing required prior to presentation and start (per Order notes)

Credentialing

Estimated credentialing timeline 1 to 2 weeks, dependent on fingerprinting (per Order notes)

Travel

Lodging and mileage available only when travel days are consecutive (per Order notes)
