Description Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses to perform advanced vocational nursing work at a facility in Cameron County, Texas. The ideal LVN will Provide clinical care and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be flexible with up to 16 hours shifts if needed. Rotational Pattern with every 3rd weekend off • Start Date: ASAP • Rate: $33-$36/hr Requirements: • Completion of an Approved LVN Program • Current unencumbered nursing license to practice in Texas • Two years’ experience in nursing in an acute or long-term care setting • Current American Heart Association CPR certification • Pass a background check and drug screening. Responsibilities: • Perform routine vocational nursing work. • Provide clinical care and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. • Provide care, treatment, and general welfare of patients. • Work under moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. • Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. • Perform nursing duties within assigned areas and shifts. • Perform basic and complex nursing tasks to meet individuals’ health needs. • Keep informed of and follow all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures. • Maintain current CPR certification. • Have strength and flexibility to safely perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
