Description Adelphi is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NP) to provide services for a facility in Irie county in NY. The ideal candidates will provide on-site psychiatric care and consultative services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Requirements: • Active NY license • BC/BE • DEA • Min. of 1 year experience in serving people with developmental disabilities • Enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare Responsibilities: • Provide on-site psychiatric care and consultative services for Individuals with developmental disabilities. • Evaluate patients and advise on psychiatric treatment. • Provide psychiatric assessments based on observations and interactions with the patients. • Ensure the evaluations and assessments are clear and concise and convey all pertinent information. • Participate in the development of treatment plans and case management. • Provide electronic prescriptions for psychotropic drugs for patients as needed. • Provide crisis intervention and prescribe pharmaceutical intervention as necessary. • Monitoring positive and negative effects of psychotropic medications prescribed. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
