Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: San Francisco, CA • Service Setting: Inpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: Long-Term Contract (Ongoing) • Clinical Shift Schedule: 2 days per week, 6 hours per day (Monday–Friday, specific days to be confirmed) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Rounding: Included • Case Mix: Cardiothoracic surgical patient care including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op management FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: CPRS • Office Equipment Available: Heart lung machine, auto transfusion pump, intra-aortic balloon pump, centrifugal ventricular assist device PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Endoscopic radial vein harvesting • Endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting • Ultrasound-guided arterial and venous access for central line placement • Chest tube and pigtail insertion/removal • Swan-Ganz catheter insertion/removal * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
