Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Physician – Gastroenterology • Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time • Location: Hobart, IN • Service Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient • Schedule: Clinic + Hospital Rounding; 1:7 Call Rotation • On-Call Expectations: 1:7 • Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing (approximately 90–120 days post-offer) PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE • Patient Demographics: Adult • Average Daily Volume / Census: • Clinic: 20–30 patients/day • Hospital: 10–15 patients/day • Admissions & Rounding: Included • Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes • Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Gastroenterology FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS • Beds in Department/Unit: Not specified • Trauma Designation: Not specified • EMR System: Epic (Fully integrated, HIMSS Stage VII) • Specialty Backup: Full access to hospital system services and NP support • Support Staff: Nurse Practitioner support in both settings • Leadership & Reporting Structure: Collegial physician group within Community Healthcare System • Reason for Opening: Practice growth and system expansion CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE • Board Requirements: BC/BE in Gastroenterology • DEA & Certifications: Required • Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
