Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician – Hospitalist • Job Type: Permanent • Location: Dothan, AL • Service Setting: Inpatient Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; 7 on / 7 off rotation PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults across all age groups and demographics • Patient Volume/Census: 15–20 patients per provider during day shift • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: Unassigned ED patients, inpatient consults, transfers, critical care (co-managed) FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 420-bed facility • Trauma Level: Level 2 • EMR System: EPIC • Specialty Backup Available: 24/7 subspecialty support including pulm/critical care and radiology • Support Staff Available: Intensivist support, in-house radiologist, hospitalist team • Reason for Coverage: Expansion of hospitalist program PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: Competitive salary with opportunity for quarterly bonuses * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
