Required Skills:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for a diverse patient population

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate approach with a patient-centered focus
- Knowledge of federal, state, and facility regulations related to LTC and rehabilitation services
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Prior experience with Department of Rehab (DOR) responsibilities
- Familiarity with PDPM processes and high-acuity patient care
- Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- At least 1-2 years of experience in LTC settings preferred
- Current state licensure and certification in speech therapy
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in meetings, facility schedule coordination, and DOR responsibilities
- Ability to start by June 15, 2026, and commit for the duration of the assignment
- Willingness to travel and comply with licensure, certification, and reimbursement policies
