Requirements:- Nursing Assistant Certificate
- BLS certification
Responsibilities: - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
- Administer prescribed medications under nurse guidance.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers to prevent injuries.
- Help with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration, and respecting dietary restrictions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including changes in condition and treatment details.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in conversations and appropriate activities.
- Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and falls, particularly for patients with mobility issues.
- Follow infection control procedures, including hand hygiene and PPE usage.
- Promptly report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Work effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
