A healthcare system in the Cleveland area is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a 13-week locums assignment beginning September 2026. This opportunity offers a structured workflow, flexible scheduling, and a broad mix of general diagnostic imaging in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Setting: Mixed inpatient and outpatient radiology


• Start Date: September 7, 2026


• Contract Length: 13 weeks


• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

• No call requirements


• Typical Coverage Need: 1–2 weeks per month


• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics


• Volume: Approximately 60–100 studies per day


• Productivity Expectation: Approximately 7 wRVUs per hour


• Case Mix: Approximately 50% cross-sectional imaging


• Workflow assigns studies oldest-to-newest to ensure balanced distribution


• EMR: Epic


• PACS: AGFA EI

• General diagnostic radiology interpretation

• Fluoroscopy optional


• APPs perform many procedures including lumbar punctures and paracenteses

Requirements

• American Board of Radiology Certification required


• Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ required


• DEA required


• BLS required


• ACLS (AHA) required if performing procedures


• NPDB self-query within six months required

Additional Notes

• No mammography required


• No nuclear medicine required


• No neuro subspecialty MRI interpretation (stroke/spine) required


• No MSK MRI unless fellowship trained


• No overtime permitted; schedule strictly limited to 8 hours of reading time daily
