Position Overview

Seeking a qualified physician to provide independent Urgent Care coverage for walk-in and scheduled patients at a busy outpatient clinic near Huntsville. The provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and completing all documentation within the facility’s EHR system.

Schedule

• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM


• June 8 & June 15: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


• Future dates: TBD

Clinical Scope

• Minor adult and pediatric illnesses


• Minor trauma and orthopedic cases


• Work-related injury care and physicals (work comp)

Procedures

• Suturing


• Incision and drainage


• Lesion destruction


• Basic splinting and casting

Requirements

• Board-eligible (required)


• Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred


• Prior urgent care experience preferred


• Experience with EHR systems preferred

Additional Information

• Approximately 20 patients per day


• Independent provider coverage
