Pathologists’ Assistant (ASCP) – Reno, NV

We’re seeking a certified Pathologists’ Assistant to join a growing pathology team in Reno. This role supports surgical pathology services in a collaborative, high-quality lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
• Prepare and dictate accurate gross descriptions
• Assist with frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and documentation
• Support quality assurance and lab compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program
• ASCP certification required (or eligible)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
