Job Title: RN - Behavioral Health
Shift: Night Shift 12 Hour
Hourly Pay Rate: $50.92
Job Description:
This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and departmental strategic goals and objectives; demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for own practice and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Required - Registered Nurse diploma. Preferred - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Required - 2+ years.
- Certifications: Required - Current RN license in practicing state. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. 12-month CPI certification from Crisis Prevention Institute. Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.
- Skills: Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications; effective verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational and time management skills.
Job Duties:
- Utilize the nursing process effectively in patient care delivery.
- Assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for diverse patients, families, and teams.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources properly; serve as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Use data and information to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
- Enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale, and professional nursing standards.
- Perform related duties as required.
