Job Title: Physical Therapist (Outpatient – Locum Tenens)
Location: Aberdeen, Maryland
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (June 23, 2025 – September 21, 2025)
Employment Type: Travel / Locum Tenens
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (expectation of up to 40 hours/week)
On-Call Requirements: NoneJob Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Physical Therapist to join an outpatient rehabilitation team in Aberdeen, MD, on a 13-week locum tenens assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality orthopedic and vestibular care. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and vestibular conditions
Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, with an average caseload of 12–14 patients per day
Provide follow-up care, including double-booked visits for maximum efficiency
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland (or willing to obtain)
Outpatient experience preferred
New graduates and first-time travelers are encouraged to apply
Must commit to full duration of assignment
Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Additional Details: No weekend, on-call, or holiday coverage required
No floating to other clinics
Overtime (OT) must be pre-approved by the clinic director
OT rates apply after 24 daily or 40 weekly hours (based on multiplier)
