Description
A community services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team at one of their group homes on Staten Island.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Article 16 Clinic
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
- Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
- EMR: PrecisionCare
Responsibilities:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will:
- Plan and implement prescribed occupational therapy treatment programs for persons receiving services
- Assist patients with maintaining and/or restoring function secondary to acute or chronic disability
- Conduct annual screens, assessments, & daily documentation
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy school
- NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Wheelchair assessment
- Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
