We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with expertise in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery to fill a full-time locum tenens position in Washington State, near Royal City. This assignment offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on providing exceptional patient support in both hospital and clinic settings.

Assignment Details

Start Date: February 17, 2025

End Date: August 31, 2025

Schedule:
- Hospital Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Clinic Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call Coverage: 7-8 days per month (weeknight only)
- No Weekend Call

Patients Per Shift: Approximately 8

Practice Setting:
- Outpatient and inpatient care
- Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and first-assist callback during call coverage

Requirements

Licensure: Active Washington State or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license required

Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS

Experience: Advanced Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery skills preferred

Board Certification: Required

Facility Information

Trauma Level: 2

Stroke Certified Facility: Yes

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60-90 days

EMR System: Epic
