Locum Tenens: Orthopaedic Surgeon (Near Marysville, WA)

Are you a dedicated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant community near Marysville, WA? We're actively searching for a skilled physician to join our team at Auburn Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and provide essential orthopaedic care on a call-only basis (ASAP - Ongoing).

This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule with predictable call blocks, allowing you to manage your workload effectively while contributing to exceptional patient care.

What We Offer:

  • Predictable Call Schedule with Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a predictable call schedule with a call burden of approximately 12-14 days per month. This includes one 7-day block and one 5-day block, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance outside of call hours.

  • Option for Surgicalist Daily Duties: In addition to call coverage, you may have the opportunity to participate in scheduled surgical procedures (details to be discussed during the application process).

  • Supportive Team Collaboration: Work alongside a team of orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, surgical technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for your patients.

  • Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize the user-friendly Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication.

  • Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and are happy to assist with facilitating temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history (estimated timeframe of 60 days).

Qualifications:

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery is required. Fellowship training is preferred.

  • Active medical license in Washington (WA) only is mandatory.

  • Current certification in BLS is essential.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopaedic surgery setting is preferred.

  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

  • A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality, patient-centered care.
