Description Job Title: Oncology RN Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses patients ages young adult through the elderly and applies the nursing process to: • Chemotherapy Administration • Assist with specialized procedures • Pain Management • Sedation • Special Isolations • End of life care • Use specialized medical equipment in the care of patients undergoing chemotherapy and other procedures • Specialized IV Drips/Titration • IV therapy • Transfusion Therapy • Accessing Central Lines • Medication Administration • Information Management Additional Certifications Required or Preferred: • ACLS training preferred • BLS training required Skills EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. RN license required. CPR required BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG, Chemo/ONS required.
