Brief overview of job:Provide best care to critically ill patients and families in the ICU; must posses and use quick problem solving and critical thinking skills; must be able to work and provide care independently and with a team; ICU/Critical Care experience is essential; requires current state license, BLS and ACLS (AHA); ventilator experience.
Weekly Travel Stipend: Local Candidates only
Dates of Coverage: 07/05/2021 - 08/29/2021, 3 shifts a week
Hours each day: 12.5 hour shift 6:45am-7:15pm
On Call schedule: NA Degree Requested: RN
Experience requested: Previous ICU hospital experience preferred.
Specialty: ICU Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS

Job Duties:
An ICU nurse is responsible for closely observing patients, noting specific procedures and prescribed medication for each case; assisting doctors in providing physical assessments and administering treatments; monitoring vital signs and ensuring the proper functions of feeding tubes, ventilators, catheters and other life support equipment; attending to the patient’s overall needs, such as feeding, bathing and grooming, dressing replacement, medication intake, and comfort.
