Seeking a Director of Nursing Operations for a busy Emergency Department 

This is affiliated with several other hospitals/outpatient sites in the area

Looking for a nurse who not only has ED experience (5+ years), but also 3+ years of management experience overseeing roughly 30 FTE's minimum. BSN is also required.

It is located just outside of the Washington DC and Loudan County, Virgina metropolitan areas, so you have easy access to some larger metropolitan areas without being in the thick of things.

Additional details:

• 40 bed Emergency Department (which is also a Level III Trauma Center)
• Treating over 60,000 patients per year
• Provides around-the-clock comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients
• 90+ employees report to the director of the ED
• Open layout of this department adds to efficiency, and allows nurses to be proximate to their team of patients
• Patients are triaged and bedded quickly allowing for less waiting room time and quick attention to patient cantered needs
• The director is accountable and responsible for the leadership and management of the assigned services on a 24-hour basis
