We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Physician in Emergency Medicine near Henning, MN. This position offers a flexible schedule and the chance to provide crucial healthcare services in a supportive and well-staffed environment. The facility is seeking coverage due to the upcoming retirement of a part-time physician and the departure of another full-time physician. The job starts ASAP, with ongoing availability for 10-12 shifts per month.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine


• Location: Near Henning, MN


• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (days or nights)


• Monthly Shifts: 10-12 shifts per month


• ER Volume: Approximately 10,000 annual visits


• Support Staff: Includes 2 RNs and 1 CNA


• Electronic Medical Record System (EMR): Meditech


• Reason for Coverage: Physician retirement and another transitioning to private practice

Certification Requirements:

• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and either ATLS or CALS with a trauma component


• Board Certification: Board Certified preferred, but Board Eligible candidates with Emergency Medicine experience will be considered


• Licensing: Active Minnesota medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)


• Experience: Candidates with EM experience from specialties like General Surgery, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine are encouraged to apply

• No on-call responsibilities


• Immediate availability for dates starting in October


• Clean background and malpractice history are highly preferred
