Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity near Chesterhill, Ohio

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in southeast Ohio, near Chesterhill. Job Details:

• Shifts: Primarily 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. with a focus on nights and weekends


• Shift Requirements: 5+ shifts per month

• Estimated Volume: 20,000 patients annually


• Bed Count: 11 beds in the emergency department


• Trauma Level: None


• Fast Track: Yes, available in the emergency department

Responsibilities:

• Oversee APPs (Advanced Practice Providers)


• Write orders for admissions


• Work closely with consultants including radiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, and oncologists


• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population

Requirements:

• Ohio State Medical License (required)


• Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine through ABMS/AOA (double board certification accepted)


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience required


• Certifications: NRP required


• COVID Vaccination: Required


• Malpractice insurance must be included in the hourly rate
