Job Opportunity: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Bremen, OH. Position Details:

• Location: Near Bremen, Ohio


• Start Date: November 1, 2024


• Shift Schedule:
  
  
  
  • 12-hour shifts, alternating between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
  
  
  • A minimum of 5 shifts per month is required
  
  
  • Weekend coverage is expected; no on-call duties
  
  
  
  


• Shifts for APPs (Advanced Practice Providers):
  
  
  
  • 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., and 2 p.m. – 2 a.m.
  
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification: ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (double-boarded ABPS also acceptable)


• Experience: At least 2+ years of recent experience in emergency medicine


• Licensure: Must hold a valid Ohio medical license (IMLC not accepted)


• Certifications: NRP and Covid vaccination are required


• EMR System: MediTech

Facility Information:

• Annual patient volume: 16,000-20,000


• 17-bed emergency department


• Transfer rate: 4.94%


• Typical transfer locations include major hospitals nearby.

Additional Notes:

• Credentialing process takes approximately 45-60 days


• Medical staff fees will be reimbursed after the provider completes their first shift


• Travel arrangements must be coordinated through the facility
