Quick Facts • Location: 2600 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, LA 71103 • Start Date: 07/13/2026 • End Date: Pending assignment duration • Shift: Night shifts, 7-on/7-off, with additional schedule options (3/2, 5/2 rotations) • Hours/week: 36-40 hours/week • Employment Type: Contract (Travel/Per Diem opportunities available) • License/Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB, TNCC (preferred) • Experience: Minimum of 2 years ED experience, capable of passing EKG competency exam Pay & Benefits • Pay package discussed upon application—$46.90/hour • Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit • Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) • Robust referral bonus program • Paid sick time in accordance with applicable state, federal, and local laws • Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do • Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics • Perform assessments, administer medications, and initiate treatments such as IV starts, chest tube management, and stroke care • Support cardiopulmonary emergencies including defibrillation and ICU GTT management • Support other team members including charge nurses, techs, PICC team, and support staff • Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system • Collaborate with ED physicians, midlevels, radiology, and other hospital departments • Maintain a high level of clinical competency through required skills and certifications What You Need Required:

About the Assignment Join a busy and dynamic emergency department with 22 beds and a 7-bed fast track area. The unit treats a wide range of acute conditions, including trauma, cardiac, infectious diseases, and strokes. Multidisciplinary support includes 24/7 radiology, ED physicians, and resource staff, ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative environment. Orientation includes 2 days in the hospital and 2 days on the unit to prepare you for success.
