What You’ll Do
- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other clinical procedures within certification scope
- Assist physicians during exams (taking vital signs, preparation, patient instructions)
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized
- Manage patient phone calls and relay instructions as directed by physicians
- Requisition and maintain medical supplies
- Assist with medical record documentation, referrals, and lab slips
- Help patients during examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Support nursing procedures and operate within scope of certification
- Collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to changing clinical needs
What You Need
Required:
- Medical Assistant certification valid in NH
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Preferred:
- Previous experience in outpatient or primary care settings
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
