What You’ll Do:


  • Conduct screening, assessment, and treatment of communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in long-term care residents

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and evidence-based practices

  • Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately in electronic health records

  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify interventions as needed

  • Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members regarding speech and swallowing disorders

  • Ensure compliance with ASHA and state regulations, including documentation and record-keeping

  • Support and supervise CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists when applicable



What You Need:


  • Active ASHA-certified State Licensure

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (preferably in LTC)

  • Strong communication, assessment, and clinical intervention skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to adherence to professional ethics and regulatory standards
