What You’ll Do
- Implement evidence-based, skilled interventions supporting patients with physical functioning disorders
- Assist in diagnosis-specific treatments including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation, and support device use
- Monitor patient progress and communicate adjustments to supervising Physical Therapist
- Document all treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in electronic records
- Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers about physical health and recovery
- Collaborate with healthcare team members in care planning and discharge summaries
- Support student supervision and adhere to APTA and state practice acts
What You Need
- Active State Licensure (if applicable)
- Minimum of 1-year relevant PTA experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of clinical documentation and regulatory standards
