Job Summary:

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Berlin, NH. This full-time position involves providing respiratory care to patients suffering from various pulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, compassionate, and have a passion for improving patients' quality of life through respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance techniques.

• Monitor and assess patient respiratory conditions, documenting findings and treatments.

• Assist in intubation, extubation, and other emergency procedures.

• Administer prescribed medications and assist with pulmonary rehabilitation.

• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

• Provide patient and family education on respiratory care and disease management.

• Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in New Hampshire.

• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification required.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Prior experience in respiratory care in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
