We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington State, in a location near Garfield. This is an excellent chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic setting, providing both inpatient and outpatient care.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP


• End Date: Ongoing


• Schedule:
  
  
  
  • 7-day inpatient blocks, one week per month.
  
  
  • Shifts run from Thursday 7 AM to Wednesday 5 PM.
  
  
  • Night call responsibilities will vary.
  
  
  
  


• Patient Load: Approximately 18 patients per shift.


• Setting: Both outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.


• Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.


• Licensure: Active Washington State medical license (WA only).


• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30 days.


• Must be eligible for hospital/surgery center privileges.

Clinical Skills Needed

• Core Skills: Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), ICU care, and outpatient/inpatient cardiology.


• Preferred Skills: PA catheter placement and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.


• Not Required: Interventional cardiology procedures or electrophysiology.
