What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct patient care to adult med/surg and post-operative urology patients, including robotic surgeries and abdominal procedures
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titratable cardiac drips
- Assist with wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, and hemodialysis catheter care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalists
- Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR for charting and documentation
- Float to various Med/Surg units as needed, adapting to different patient care areas
- Support patient safety initiatives and ensure compliance with hospital policies
What You Need:
- Valid RN license; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (current)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, specifically in med/surg and urology preferred
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound management, and telemetry
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to orientation
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in high-pressure situations
