Description Position (needing coverage): CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence – Speech Language Pathologist) with Inpatient experience and ability to perform VFSS/MBS independently What skills are required: Prefer 2-3+ years acute/IP experience, VFSS/MBS Specific state license required: FL and ASHA Dates of Coverage needed: Nov. 18th (ish) start date – start with a 13 week assignment but looking to keep this covered until the permanent position is filled, which will likely be more than 13 weeks. Coverage Hours needed: 7am – 3:30pm M-F Is weekend coverage needed? Occasional for extra pay or Flex Order Entry System: Meditech. Will train. Site Specialty Areas: Inpatient – ICU, ED, Med/Surg floors and IP/OP VFSS/MBS Job responsibilities: Responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability.
