Description
We’re seeking a Board-Certified Physician (MD/DO) in Pediatrics to provide 24-hour call coverage for a hospital-based pediatrics service in the Pendleton, OR region. This is a locum tenens opportunity requiring a confident, independent clinician comfortable serving as the solo pediatric provider for inpatient/newborn needs, including stabilization and transfer when indicated.Coverage need: starting 07/31/2026 (7:00 AM) through 08/04/2026 (7:00 AM), with ongoing coverage expected afterward.
Skills
• Board Certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• If IM/FM: must demonstrate significant pediatrics and neonatal experience
• Completion of a 3-year Pediatric Residency Program
• Active Oregon medical license (required)
• PALS
• NRP
• DEA (required)
• Ability to meet temporary privileges requirements, including clean malpractice/background
• Recent experience requirement: must demonstrate inpatient care to at least 24 patients as the attending physician within the last 24 months
• Highly preferred: local provider (no flights)
