    Location: Palm Springs California Area
   Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (8-Hour Shift)
    Pay Range: $54.94–$83.06/hour
    Sign-on Bonus Available (Terms & conditions apply)

Overview:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Pathologists’ Assistant to join a dynamic histology team. This role is essential in supporting the processing, examination, and preparation of tissue specimens to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gross dissection and description of a wide range of surgical specimens

• Performance of frozen sections and intra-operative consultations

• Assist with autopsies and specimen photography

• Ensure compliance with protocols including CAP and AJCC Cancer Staging standards

• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with CPT code verification

• Support and guide trainees or junior team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• ASCP certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (or obtained within 1 year of hire)

• Graduation from a NAACLS-accredited PA program preferred

• Master’s degree and/or prior experience in a similar role preferred
