FACILITY INFORMATION - No. of Beds in Department: 268
- Trauma Level: Level III
REQUIRED PROCEDURES - CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammo)
- Drain placement: renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder and abscess (in Cath lab and CT); Biliary stents
- Thoracentesis and paracentesis
- Dialysis procedures in Cath lab
- Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
- Rare embolization procedures: GI and other bleeding
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active AR license or willing to obtain
- Experience: Fellowship in IR preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform diagnostic radiology interpretations
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drain placements, thoracentesis/paracentesis, dialysis procedures, and occasional embolizations
- Provide on-site coverage Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Collaborate with hospital staff and referring physicians
- No call or weekend responsibilities
