What You’ll Do
- Provide respiratory care and life support for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
- Manage and support care involving ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP equipment.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
- Administer respiratory medications via nebulizer and metered dose inhaler (MDI).
- Cross-train in PFT (pulmonary function testing) studies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver acute and critical care as prescribed.
- Serve as a resource/mentor to the Respiratory Therapy Department, under general supervision.
What You Need
Required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
Preferred
- Strong familiarity with ventilator and non-invasive ventilation workflows (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Experience supporting acute/critical care environments
- Willingness to cross-train in PFT studies
About the Assignment
You’ll join a team at a leading facility in Peterborough, New Hampshire providing respiratory therapy services for patients requiring acute and critical cardiopulmonary support. This nights shift position is part-time (24 hours/week) and benefit-eligible, with opportunities to build skills across key respiratory therapy modalities.
