Locum Physician – Surgery (Cardiothoracic) Springfield, OH (Call)
Join a full-service acute care hospital in Springfield, OH and provide cardiothoracic/vascular call coverage with a schedule that starts 05/28/2026 and is ongoing for at least 2 months. What You’ll Do
- Provide cardiothoracic/vascular call coverage for an acute care inpatient setting
- Support the surgical team with general CV/thoracic/vascular care as needed
- Cover a broad range of procedures, including coronary artery bypass and valvular repair/replacement
- Participate in management of complex surgical cases such as aneurysm repair, lung resection, and esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
- Assist with vascular procedures including endarterectomy (carotid and renal) when required
- Provide support for airway/respiratory needs such as ventilation management and bronchoscopy as needed
- Use EPIC for documentation in collaboration with the onsite team
