• Block Scheduling- 7 on 7 off 8 PM-8 AM


• 1 Hospitalist/ night


• closed ICU


• Teaching responsibilities


• supervise NP until 12 AM


• cross-coverage


• code team in place- no codes and no RRT's


• no on-call responsibility


• 182 shifts per year


• Epic EMR


• 5-7 admissions per night
