• Block Scheduling- 7 on 7 off 7 PM-7 AM


• 18-20 patient encounters per shift + 2 admissions max per provider


• open ICU with 24/7 intensivist support on staff


• no codes and no procedures required


• no on-call responsibility


• strong sub-specialty support


• Epic EMR


• responsibilities include cross-covering, hold ER beeper after 1 AM, supervise NP cross-cover calls, and attend RRT's
