- Credentialing Timeline: 90 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Inpatient neurosurgery patient management
- Rounding with residents and care planning
- Order entry and discharge planning
- Preferred: Removal of Hemovac/JP drains
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active MA license required, not willing to license
- Board: Board Certified in Neurosurgery required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Round with residents to assess and plan patient care
- Enter and manage patient orders
- Coordinate discharge planning
- Remove drains (Hemovac/JP) as needed
- Collaborate with attending neurosurgeons and residents
