What You’ll Do
- Provide physical therapy services across assigned patient populations (as applicable to the unit).
- Manage an independent caseload while collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team.
- Deliver care for patients including (as applicable): spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, complex/medically involved cases, ortho/sports med, pediatrics, and skilled nursing-like rehab needs.
- Conduct evaluations and develop/adjust care plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s EMR systems (e.g., EPIC / Meditech Expanse / Wellsky, as assigned).
- Participate in onboarding including general hospital orientation and departmental/site-specific orientation (typically 2–3 days).
What You Need
Required
- Current LA Physical Therapist (PT) license (PT)
- 1+ years of experience in the specialty
- Ability to manage a case load independently
- Experience working with multidisciplinary care teams
Preferred
- Experience with a mix of the following settings/patient types: IPR/Acute/PCC, outpatient, and/or skilled nursing (depending on assignment)
- Comfort providing services using facility EMR workflows (EPIC/Meditech Expanse/Wellsky, as applicable)
About the Assignment
You’ll join a physical therapy department supporting a variety of rehabilitation and therapy settings, including inpatient rehab, acute/PCC, outpatient ortho/sports med and pediatrics, neuro-specific diagnoses, and skilled nursing needs. The role is designed for clinicians who can work independently on a meaningful caseload while partnering closely with a multidisciplinary team.
