Description
We are looking to add a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for ongoing locum tenens coverage at an inpatient psychiatric facility in Massachusetts. The position includes treating 90% adults – job share rotating 7 on/off with another provider.
Overview
- Monday–Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Inpatient behavioral health setting
- Daily census of approximately 12–14 patients
- Majority adult patient population
- 62-bed psychiatric unit affiliated with a hospital system
- No call responsibilities
- 6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend
- Travel and lodging are provided in addition to medical malpractice and a great hourly rate
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active Massachusetts license preferred
- DEA and BLS
- Prior inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
