A healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Electrophysiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity. This position offers a weekday-only schedule with no call responsibilities and a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and procedural electrophysiology work.

Compensation:

$440/hr

Will consider providers available for at least 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis
Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call required
Up to 40 hours per week

Hospital-based and outpatient practice
Academic/teaching environment
Epic EMR
270-bed hospital
Patient Population
Adult patients (ages 18–100)
Patient Volume
Outpatient: Approximately 16 patients per day
Inpatient: Approximately 10–15 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient electrophysiology consultations and follow-up care
Inpatient electrophysiology management
Electrophysiology procedures including:
Pacemaker implantation
ICD implantation (traditional and subcutaneous)
Loop recorder implantation and explantation
Ablations for:
AVNRT
SVT
Atrial Flutter
Support Staff
Dedicated outpatient clinical support team
Dedicated inpatient Advanced Practice Provider
Requirements

Required

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology/Electrophysiology
Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification
DEA Registration
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
