What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the CVICU, including monitoring and managing complex cardiac cases
- Administer medications, IVs, and perform procedures such as tele, vents, Swan-Ganz, and balloon pumps
- Support patients with conscious sedation and line management (PA lines)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Float within units as needed and maintain flexibility for rotating shifts/holidays
- Maintain patient safety and comfort through vigilant observation and intervention
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of IC experience, preferably in Cardiac ICU
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines
- Epic EHR experience
Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience providing care in fast-paced ICU environments
