What You’ll Do
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for cardiac surgery patients
- Assist with intraoperative monitoring and support during CVOR procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond to any changes
- Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families on post-surgery care
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
- Required:
- RN license in state of employment or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA
- At least 1 year of experience in CVOR or related specialty
- Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Experience with complex cardiac intraoperative care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
