What You’ll Do:
- Provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients in the PACU, pre-op, Phase I and Phase 2 recovery
- Float to pediatric PACU as needed, supporting all surgical/procedural populations
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses, adjusting care as necessary
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for patient safety
- Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein
- Document care accurately within Epic electronic health records
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout recovery processes
What You Need:
Required:
- Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications
- 1+ year of PACU or Pre/Post-Op experience
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to float to pediatric PACU when needed
Preferred:
- Experience caring for patients of all ages in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong team collaboration skills
