Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Pulmonology Physician Assistant for a 15-day assignment in Texas, starting Sep 28, 2026. This role involves comprehensive care for pediatric patients with complex neuro-rehabilitation, pulmonary, and feeding disorders within an Integrated Therapy Unit, including ventilator and tracheostomy management. Shifts run 7a-8p and 7p-8a, providing essential support in a multidisciplinary setting focused on family education and successful home transitions.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide multidisciplinary care for pediatric patients within an Integrated Therapy Unit, focusing on neuro-rehabilitation, pulmonary disorders, and feeding disorders.
- Manage complex medical needs including ventilator and tracheostomy support.
- Deliver care within a collaborative team model, emphasizing family education and successful transition to home.
- Care for chronic pulmonary patients, many of whom require ongoing ventilator support at home.
- Operate within a basic floor-care model without outpatient expectations or procedures.
