Physician Assistant – Hospitalist Opportunity in Chippewa Falls, WI

  • Shift: 6-hour shifts; 7 on / 7 off schedule (or variation)

  • Hours/Week: Approximately 36 hours per week

  • Employment Type: Per Diem / Contract

  • License/Certs: Valid Advanced Practice Provider license; ACLS/BLS preferred

  • Experience: Prior hospitalist or Med/Surg experience preferred but not required



Pay & Benefits:


  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:


  • Cover solo hospitalist shifts for low-acuity Med/Surg patients

  • Perform procedures as needed within scope of practice

  • Manage patient care independently while collaborating with hospital staff

  • Ensure high-quality patient outcomes and safety

  • Document medical assessments and treatment plans accurately

  • Adhere to facility protocols and policies



What You Need:


  • Valid PA license in Wisconsin or eligibility to practice there

  • Experience in hospital or Med/Surg setting preferred

  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
