What You’ll Do
- Deliver direct patient care to high-acuity ICU patients, including post-op cardiac, transplant, and vascular cases
- Monitor and manage complex medical devices such as PA catheters and balloon pumps
- Provide care for post-operative CABG, valve repairs, aortic dissection, and transplant patients
- Respond to emergencies and participate in potential "Emergency Team" assignments during events
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately using Epic or similar EMR systems
- Support continuous renal replacement therapies as needed
What You Need
- Valid RN license for practice in City, State
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with high-acuity unit preferred
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system (preferred)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required
- Experience managing PA catheters and balloon pumps (preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to emergency situations and work flexible hours
